PROFESSIONAL PAINT JOB. No wonder need to wait for so LONG!!! FINGERS CROSSING!!! Cant wait to get it on the road with RE-Amemiya body-kit.

Not forgetting to tell you that, I found a secret recipe which suitable for the Track Car… The ENDLESS 6POT Brake Kit. Should I go for it? Gonna need a deep pocket for this recipe… SUPER LATE BRAKE when attacking the first corner of Sepang International Circuit.

Achilles Radial Formula Drift Asia 2011

Japanese drifter, Daigo Saito, won round 3 for the second year running in Malaysia and official Formula Drift Asia 2011 champion. His team SPARK Achilles team became the overall winner in the team championship.

Many drift fans were hoping for Diago Saito and Manabu Orido to come out and compete with each other and their wish is granted.Unfortunately, Orido made a rare error on the first run causing him to spin out, and Saito’s close tandem attack on Orido on second run means Saito wins the final race with ease.

RX7 FD3S Track Machine #2 – HKS Twin Oil Cooler

In my previous post of FD3S track machine, i mentioned that my track machine still got a couple of things need to be modified.

Oil cooler is one of the list (the car only has 1 oil cooler for time being), if you are EVO, SKYLINE owner, your car probably only has one oil cooler even you car running more than 300hp but Rotary engine need two because is running hot in term of water temperature and oil temperature.

well, I managed to secure an used set of HKS Twin Oil Cooler Kit from Japan yesterday.

Check this out, this is one of the Japanese’s FD3S project car with major HKS parts fully loaded.

To compare the image below, which is my track machine engine bay, i think i still need more money to burn!

SharePoint 2010 – return XmlDocument with WCF Rest WebService

Objective: to return XmlDocument from WCF REST WebService via URL.

Creating a WCF WebService is straight forward, but to create a WCF WebService to host under SharePoint 2010 you need extra steps to accomplish.
This is my first time to develop WCF RestFul WebService. Many of you may familiar with REST if you are the SharePoint Developer.

I will attach a zip file of a working solution at the end of this post.

To Create WCF Service

New Project -> WCF -> WCF Service Library
it will create 2 class files for you. (we need these 2 files)

To Create SharePoint WCF Service

New Project -> SharePoint -> Empty SharePoint Project
Map ISAPI SharePoint Folder
Create a text file and rename it to “BuckOfficesService.svc”
Create another text file and rename it to “web.config”
Copy 2 cs files from WCF Service Project (Rename them as BuckOfficeService.cs and IBuckOfficesService.cs)
Make sure those references added in the project as well

Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.Runtime
Microsoft.SharePoint.Security
System.ServiceModel
System.ServiceModel.Web

So I wanted to return a XmlDocument from Rest WCF WebService.
You need to make sure you add [XmlSerializerFormat] in your Interface class (it will return error when you try to run the service) before or after [ServiceContract]

Deploy the solution to your SharePoint Server.
Launch IE with http://localhost/_vti_bin/buckofficesservice.svc/getbuckoffices

Ivory Romance @ Malaysia Wedding Fair

Thanks to the Project Car, I have missed out a lot of photo shooting opportunities.
Anyhow, I managed to attend this wedding fair.

Overall, I quite like the lighting setup there, but not the background poster.

SharePoint 2010 – Create Custom Central Admin Menu

Usually the development team create some application pages to park under _layouts directory.

When an application page involved User Profile Services or Deletion, the application just can’t work properly without Service Account.

Fortunately, One of the solution is deploy those applications under Central Admin Page.

That’s 2 custom applications under ’Bucknet 2.0 Support Application’.

This is what I have in Visual Studio 2010, click the image for bigger size so that you able to see xml script in Elements.xml

First you need to create ‘Element’ with above xml script.

Map the admin folder, and create new folder for each applications.

Also, do not forget to set the ‘scope’ to ‘Site’ or ‘Farm’ in Webpart’s feature then deploy to SharePoint server.

Check File Exist from Remote Server

Some snippet code for checking file exists from remote server using WebClient.

RX7 FD3S Track Machine #1

Reason to build this machine is for Time Attack at Sepang International Circuit.
Still got a couple of minor parts need to be installed before go for a test.

Mazda RX7 FD3S Project #39

Lack of updates recently.

The machine still in the mudguard shop for body kit readjustment.

Anyhow, will install Mazda Speed Bumper with custom made lips.

Due to the large size of Trust Twin Oil Cooler kit, we failed to install 2 of RE-Amemiya Bumper, either re-locate the oil cooler or replace the bumper, I chosen to use Mazda Speed Bumper.
